Memorial Road Church History Book After leaving QuarkXpress, this 134 page soft bound book was produced using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. hen Oklahoma Christian University moved to Oklahoma City from Bartlesville in the late 1950s, the need for a college congregation soon became apparent. In 1962, elders C. A. Buchanan and James O. Baird, met at the Royce’s Cafe in downtown Edmond to discuss plans for starting this new congregation. One year later, the church opened its doors with 25 members.
