ike so many in New Orleans, the Hornets found themselves homeless and looking for temporary refuge after Katrina flooded their arena. On Sept. 21, NBA Commissioner David Stern announced that Oklahoma City would play temporary host to the Hornets for 35 regular season games.

The Hornets opened in Oklahoma City to a sell-out crowd of 19,163 and a 93-67 win over the Sacramento Kings. This special pictorial book is a commemorative celebratiion of the Hornets 2005-06 season in Oklahoma City.
