ogether with the chamber, the institute and the citizens of Edmond, this Christmastime gala featured one of the greatest voices of the big band era, Kay Starr. Voted as Hit Parader's No. 1 Female Entertainer, Starr touched thousands with songs like Wheel of Fortune and Rock and Roll Waltz. Also featured was Oklahoma songwriter Ralph Blane. With over 700 song titles to his name, Blane wrote the all-time favorite Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Other titles include, The Trolley Song and The Boy Next Door from Meet Me in St. Louis.
